The museum is divided into five sections each categorizing history, geography, people, archaeology and marine life of Andaman.

Room number one – where history and geography of Andaman is hidden

History of Andaman Islands

Room number one shows you the history of the islands starting from the evolution of its name. Of which the interesting one being the volcanoes of Andaman. We know that Barren islands house India’s only active volcano. Not only Barren islands but Nar condom islands in Andaman has a dormant volcano from which even the island was formed. A detailed description regarding these will be shown. The interesting one will be that of mud volcanoes in Diglipur and Baratang. Also, the room demonstrates the forest and sanctuaries of Andaman. The type of woods found insects and wildlife of the islands will be shared with you. This can benefit once you are on a trek or while visiting wildlife sanctuaries. Some will be excited to understand the history of a place but some will not. Realizing this, Hyderabad natives are most welcomed to this place because on further research the travel organizers have come to know the excitement they possess to understand the heritage and history of a place. Moreover, being tired of around a metropolitan city and fast growing state to become the IT hub, the natives search for an outlet to shed off their stress and rejuvenate the mind. Andaman and its soothing beaches are a solution. Keeping this in mind, the trip planners have sold out massive Hyderabad to Andaman tour packages. They will obviously enjoy the museum tour to get the first breath of excitement.

What we see here is the excitement of travelers to watch the coral reefs in the underwater. Before your tour, the museum will show you some exotic corals along with its exact location.

Room number four – Displaying sea shells

Some kids used to have a collection of sea shells as their hobby and here a vast display of beautiful shells are opened before you. There are a huge number of sea shells here.

Room number five to show the tribal life

Those who have passed on the Andaman trunk road on your way to Baratang Island must have encountered some tribes. They are Jarawas and the Nicobar Islands are the major islands where tribals are encountered. In ancient times, they were the inhabitants and will not interact with others. They will attack even the officials but now the government has earned their trust when they were given a privacy to live. Here the life of tribes is displayed and their tools used for livelihood. There are a variety of snake specimens and exotic butterflies displayed in this room. Japanese used to inhabit these islands in the ancient period and during which they have introduced a currency named war currency, which is also displayed here.

After finishing your museum tour, visit the Chatham saw mill and forest museum. The Chatham saw mill is the Asia’s largest and oldest saw mill. Returning Andaman without entering the premises of this saw mill is extremely disappointing. The museum is also a lively prey of the Second World War. The natives of Hyderabad can take a look here along with the forest museum displaying the timber and the various timber artifacts. If possible, get some to your home.

The Andaman Islands are a group of islands and these are divided into different sections of which there are several islands placed in a group, one of which is the renowned Mahatma Gandhi national park, the largest national parks of India within Wandoor in Andaman. The park comes under the South Andaman administrative district, which is a part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The park came into existence on 24 May 1983 below the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 to shield marine life together with the corals and nesting sea turtles common inside the place. The park was shielded under the safety of the Chief Wildlife Warden of the forest branch of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. There are 2 principal island categories in the park which are the Labyrinth Islands and the Twin Islands. The islands are located sixteen kilometers south from Port Blair. The marine park covers 281.5 square kilometers made from 17 islands and the open sea creeks running across the area. There is a potential of eco-tourism to progress on the islands Jolly Buoy and Red Skin. The islands belong to the Rutland Archipelago and are placed among Rutland Island and South Andaman Island. Most of the coral reefs within the park are fringing reefs. The kind and composition of plant life vary from island to island. Most considerably there you may see a distinction between the traveler islands which go through extra anthropocentric change and others which do not. Hyderabad to Andaman Tour Package of Andaman escapes will arrange a tour to the islands which are spread across the park. There also are a few islands more isolated or covered from the outcomes of climate within the Bay of Bengal. Tarmugli, the largest island, is protected with thick mangrove plant life, sand included seashores, uprooted bushes, and sheet rocks. Twin Islands are a vital breeding floor for turtles inside the park. The park is only 29 kilometers from the capital town, port Blair and can be accessed by boat, the islands are barely inhabited by people and presently there is only 3000 population in 8 villages. The humans spotted are tourists or local helpers or tourist guides. Jolly Buoy Island is a non-plastic precinct and its stunning long stretched white sandy seashores are its specialties but they are no longer palm fringed but surrounded with the aid of thick forests. The island doesn’t have any rooms for to get dressed and lockers to attend to treasured assets. You must limit your leisure until midday, as the boat would start around 2 within the noon. Check out the timings of the opening of the park as the parks will be closed for 6 months and at those times, the travelers are diverted to the other island, red skin.

Jolly Buoy islands are hazardous in the course of monsoons thus additionally there comes the chance to visit red skin islands. The island has, as a result, won its name as the purple coral reefs would make the water appear pink in coloration and it has won popularity attributable to only this region. The island is least inhabited and overcrowded at some stage in top seasons. It is recommended to go to the island during offseason because the beach is narrower and with crowds around you, will not allow you to experience the island to the fullest. Hiring a boat of glass bottomed can present you the sight of red coral reefs nurturing in the underwater. The settlements of Jarawa tribes are spread along the great Andaman trunk road in the Jarawa tribe reserve region. There used to have a human safari across their land earlier to have a look at these tribes from a distance but after video graphic revelations of exploitation of tribals by tourists a ban was issued to human safari by the supreme court. There are many benches for strollers to stretch their legs and stalls for coconut water. This is termed as one of the best beaches in Andaman.

Radhangar Beach

This beach was selected as the best beach in Asia by Time Magazine in 2004. It is a neat and tidy beach which you must not miss for sure during your Andaman tour packages from Mumbai. The Radhanagar Beach is located at the western coast of Havelock Island. This beach is not at all crowded with tourists so that you can enjoy the tranquil ambiance and white and silky sand luminous below turquoise blue water. The beach is the best in the Andamans and perfect for long walks during the sunset. This beach is also famous for water activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and other adventure sports. This place is ideally suited for honeymoon couples. The best way to enjoy is to carry a camera and take snaps of each angle of the beach. You can enjoy an elephant ride also on this beach.

Cellular Jail

This jail is known as Kalapani (black water) and this place has horrific tales to tell about the Indian Freedom Struggle. This jail was the nightmare for our freedom fighters. The British used this jail to put all political rebels to curb their natural life. Many of our freedom fighters died in this jail itself. The construction of the jail was started in 1896 and completed in 1906. The British brought red bricks from Myanmar. There are seven wings to the building and each and every cell was made in such way that no one can see any other prisoners. There were huge watchtowers from where jailers used to watch the prisoners. The prisoners were confined alone in each cell without seeing anyone. This made most of them mad and this mental agony was made worse by using them as slaves! But now this has become the biggest government hospital in Andaman. Around 40 doctors and 500 beds are available in this hospital. You should never miss this Cellular jail which is now converted into a hospital. It is a tribute to our freedom fighters. There is a beautiful garden in front of it maintained by the authorities.

Marina Park

You can easily understand the importance of the spot by checking the number of tourists who come to this park.
